JONATHAN E. SYMER
is a senior partner in Steinberg, Symer & Platt, LLP. Since 1987, his practice has focused almost exclusively on medical malpractice defense and ancillary medico-legal issues. He is experienced in litigating matters involving all major surgical, obstetrical, orthopedic and medical specializations including representing innumerable physicians and health care providers. He has successfully litigated scores of actions to verdict. Mr. Symer also represents physicians and health care providers before medical regulatory agencies such as the Department of Health and Office of Professional Medical Conduct.

CLIFFORD A. PLATT
is a senior partner in Steinberg, Symer & Platt, LLP whose practice is focused on representing medical providers in medical malpractice actions, and on representing severely injured individuals in personal injury matters. His litigation experience includes defending providers in a wide array of speciality and general medical care, and prosecuting cases on behalf of injured individuals for negligence, productc liability, premise liability, and construction liability.
Cliff is an accomplished trial lawyer with decades of successful trial results involving catastrophic injuries. He has both served as an editor on the Pace Law Review and been published on insurance defense issues in the Pace Law Review.
